I'm off to
Eurocon this week courtesy of my Czech publishers. The convention takes place in Cieszyn and Český Těšín, two sister towns straddling the Czech-Polish border. On Saturday I'll be joining Orson Scott Card, Andrzej Sapkowski, Michał Wnuk, Steven Erikson, and Piotr W. Cholewa on a panel exploring "how to handle a saga". Given some of the names in attendance, I suspect I'll be the quiet one at the end of the table, taking notes.

Alan, you were absolutely great! I went to the con because of you and I was totally excited to see you :3. I hope to see you somewhere else, sometimes .)) For me you were the best point of the Tricon and also best point of whole holidays :3. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Petra. It was nice to meet you.
Alan, thank you for visiting Tricon 2010. I hope you had a great time, even if I postpone your "cannibalistic" tendencies for 15 minutes :D.

Thanks, Ola.
I should blog about the con. Last time I tried to do that we had a power cut.
Tokrika, I don't share Orson Scott Card's opinions on politics and other things, but I did meet him briefly and he seemed like a nice guy.

That's ok, Tokrika.
I only keep the comment moderation on to avoid automatic spam comments. I don't like to censor anyone. But since you're having second thoughts about the words you used, I deleted the comment. No harm done.
