Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been too busy working on Deepgate Codex III. So far I've managed to stick to my X number of words per day and, unless my brain suddenly freezes, I'm on schedule to have it finished on time.
After that comes the editing and proofs, which should be finished before the upcoming World War.

I have working title for DCIII, but I'm not convinced its the best one. All ideas are welcome. (I realise that not having read the book might put readers at a disadvantage when it comes to suggesting a title, but that's a risk I'm prepared to take.)

Seriously though, I can't wait for Book III after the cliffhanger at the end of Iron Angel. I'm just not sure I can wait that long!!

How about "Deepgate Codex III: The Return of the King"? Oh wait, no, somebody's already snagged that.
You could mix the titles of book I and II. "Scar Angel" or "Iron night"? *g*
I have enough trouble coming up with my own titles, much less yours! Sorry!
I do, however, recommend a Toyota Prius. I do beieve they are coming out with a purely electric one soon. Mine is half gas fed, and it is saving me a ton of money. It also helps when I make my kids open their doors, stick out one foot, and push.

It takes more environmental resources to build a Prius than a "normal" car. Diesel has lower Co2 emissions, but releases more cancer inducing particles than petrol. (Ever wondered what that black smog spewing from the No 3 bus was?)
Stick with a man's car and give it some welly. I've just bought a Monaro VXR. F*** the environmentalists! :)

On another note, I hope you plan on doing more with this world. From what I've read there are a lot of spots in your history you can write about. The Rise of Callis and the Archons and the founding of Deepgate, and the revolt of the Gods are two good examples.

Hmm, I just discovered this blog. Having just finished Lye street(after Scar Night/Iron Angel). I am very glad to hear that progress on the first book is proceeding well.
I don't normally read series, I didn't know what I was getting into when I picked up Scar Night. Now the suspense is killing me.

Since Dill and Rachel are the heroes and can be expected to survive (in some form--s-sob, Dill) at least until the end of the last book, how about a title like "Carnival is Gonna Be Fine, Really" and mean it? She's the best thing that's happened to SFF since SFF, and I admit to abject terror over her well-being. ;__;
