A lot has happened this last week. In another foreign deal, Wydawnictwo MAG are to publish Scar Night in Poland, which hopefully means I'll have an excuse to visit Kraków again (even if it's only to have a glass of wodka.) All very exciting.
Speaking of languages, Elbakin.net were kind enough to ask for an interview.
I'd love to say my French is this good, but unfortunately it isn't. The interview was translated from English by one of the talented people who run the website. The orginal version is here.
Here in the UK, it seems there has been a healthy demand for the paperback (due out next month). So much so that MacMillan have had to order a reprint. Hurrah. Now, back to BookTwo.

A Best Seller?
I like it when envelopes arrive from the USA bearing the Bantam Dell Publishing Group logo. So far, they've always contained good news.
This one pointed me to the latest LOCUS bestseller list, where Scar Night makes a cheeky appearance among the hardcovers at number nine.
Wahay. I've ordered a yacht. Well, not really, but it's still nice to be on any list with names like Orson Scott Card, Dan Simmons, and Laurell K. Hamilton (had a sudden image just then of Wanye and Garth prostrating themselves before Alice Cooper.) Yep. Cool beans, no matter how briefly I'm there.
